The coat above is probably one of my favorite pieces from Milan Fashion Week. The retro military styling is subtle and looks incredibly sharp. The combination with the gingham shirt and bow tie is superb.
This double breasted suit was also a standout of the collection. The super wide peaked lapel is perfectly done and the bow tie and pocket square are great accents. I often find that double breasted suits feel stiff and proper and because of this, don't look great on many people. This suit however has a casual and relaxed elegance to it that just makes it look incredibly cool.
I really enjoyed the addition of a pajama look in this collection. The shawl collar jacket/robe looks great while again, not looking stuffy or uncomfortable.
Overall, I felt like this was an outstanding collection. Maybe it was the military and aviator type styling that goes back to the 1910's and 1920's that I enjoy so much, or maybe the strong sense of masculinity the collection had. Whatever it was, Corneliani really impressed me with their Fall 2011 collection.

Very timeless looks with a more of a comfort feel love it great post.
